FAQs

Designing your space should feel exciting, not overwhelming. We’ve gathered answers to the most common questions so you can feel confident about what to expect.

1. Who are Allanberry Rooms’ services for?Our services are for everyone — individuals, families, schools, kindergartens, and workplaces.
We design sensory-friendly spaces that help all kinds of people, both neurodivergent and neurotypical, feel calm, focused, and comfortable.

2. I don’t have a diagnosis of autism or ADHD. Can I still use your services?
You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from our designs. Many people find that sensory-friendly spaces help them feel better, focus more easily, and relax at home or work.

3. What is Allanberry Stories?

Allanberry Stories is our own interactive story tool that helps you explore how you experience the world through your senses. Each story lets you reflect on different situations and feelings, giving us insight into what makes you feel calm or comfortable. These insights help us design spaces that fit your sensory needs.

4. Do you provide physical interior work?

No — Allanberry Rooms is a design and consultation service.
We don’t do construction or installation ourselves, but we can recommend trusted local companies and give you aftercare guidance to help everything go smoothly.

5. Where do you operate?

We work worldwide. You can join consultations by video call from anywhere, and design services can also be done online. In-person meetings and visits are currently available in South Korea.

6. How long does the process take?

Consultations usually take about two to three weeks from start to finish — including preparation, the meeting, and your final report. Design packages take longer, depending on the space, and we’ll share a clear timeline before starting.

7. How much do your services cost?

Our prices depend on your project size and goals. You can see all prices on our website, including VAT. We offer options from online consultations to full design packages, so you can choose what fits your budget and needs.

8. Is your approach evidence-based?

Our designs are based on proven research and frameworks like Sensory Integration Theory and the Autism ASPECTSS™ Design Index. These help us focus on things like sensory balance, wellbeing, and how people interact with their environments. This means our designs are scientifically reliable, psychologically thoughtful, and truly supportive of comfort, focus, and emotional wellbeing.
